great access to attractions and beautiful walking areas

during my stay, I discovered that the Kizimkazi Old Mosque is just under 2 km away, making for a lovely stroll while soaking in local culture and history, and there's a beautiful beach area nearby perfect for relaxing moments amidst the vibrant scenery.

Our experience was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were frustrated to find that the resort's advertised amenities were unreliable. We often faced issues with the housekeeping, and basic services like towel replacements took far too long. we were shocked to see cats on the dining tables and birds in the food at the buffet, which should never be the case in a reputable hotel.

The hotel has stunning design elements with beautiful architecture. I loved my room. it was breathtaking, and the views from the terrace focused on nature were exceptional. The variety of food options at the buffets was impressive, catering to different tastes. Dining at the cave restaurant offered a unique atmosphere paired with pretty good food. my experience with the service was frustrating. I had to carry my own luggage to the room, which felt odd for a hotel this size. The waitstaff mixed up orders multiple times, which is concerning if someone has dietary restrictions. It was frustrating trying to book restaurants. the policy of only allowing reservations the day before isn’t guest-friendly, especially when the restaurants were empty. Noise was another issue. The excursion team persistently approached me about packages that were significantly overpriced compared to local offerings. I noticed unsanitary conditions in dining areas with stray cats and birds getting into the food. These points need attention to elevate the experience.

The dining at Aldiana Club Zanzibar was a feast for the senses! The Japanese Hub restaurant was a memorable experience with fresh, delish sushi that had us coming back for seconds. Plus, the ambiance and decor throughout the resort really added to the overall vibe, making every meal feel special. The room was gorgeous and comfortable, and we even received a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival!

Private beach access was lovely, but wi-fi was weak and spotty in the room.

we absolutely loved our stay at this resort! from the friendly check-in to the stunning sea front suite with a swim-up pool, everything was perfect. celebrating my anniversary while sipping wine at sunset on the deck was unforgettable.

something was off with bathroom drainage.

Aldiana Club Zanzibar Kwanza has stunning resort grounds with beautiful flowers and well-kept gardens. The architecture and design of the spaces, combined with ample seating areas, create an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and easy movement.

I'd suggest more comfortable seating areas by the pool.

Strongly recommend for a weekend escape

Stunning grounds, fantastic staff, the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel made our stay enjoyable, and the beach access combined with the exceptional outdoor swimming pool provided a perfect setting for relaxation and fun.
